Items missing from cargo..Birmingham…Part 2 Aug 2024
Cargo Lord Aug 2024 So further to my post from 2021, we have mistakenly used Cargo Lord again....and guess what items stolen/missing again from the cargo we sent back in May 2024, it only got delivered in August 2024. So to try and give Cargo Lord an opportunity to explain, I rang them today and no one is answering the phones!! We shipped three sack fulls, all packaged and padded to stop any damage and breakages. Two of the three bags seemed intact, the third had the items missing. It was also full when we shipped, however when it was finally delivered it was nearly an empty sack delivered. Example 1 We know 100% items were stolen because there were cosmetic gift sets, which had 4 items per gift set, but only one item was left in the gift set box. Example 2 The delivery guys demanded money when the cargo was being delivered!! Now that's a first. They said they could only hand over the cargo once money was paid!! Luckily the recipients of the cargo called their bluff and told them they did not need to pay them, as payment was already made and if they did not hand over the cargo a complaint would be made. Only then they relented. See below complaint from 2021 ----------------------------------------- From 2021 Items missing from cargo....Birmingham office Cannot be trusted as items have gone missing from the cargo sent in Dec 2021. Update April 2022 So I called and complained about the missing items, they were not interested at all. However promised to investigate and get back to me. 4 weeks down the line and still no feedback. I guess they cannot be trusted, same as their courier partners in Pakistan. Which means they are complicit in stealing items from the cargo. Absolute disgrace, looking in to where they can be reported officially now. Possibly SCC to follow. Date of experience: 07 April 2022
