Unfair parking fine, more like a cowboy company than what is supposed to be reputable
I have received a £100 fine for parking a couple of inches over the white line into a hatched area of completely dead space. It is not a walkway, just a space between a wall and a fence and my car. The car next to me is clearly right at the edge of the white line (as shown on NCP photos) so if I didnt slightly encroach into the hatched area I couldnt have got out of the car. I harmed nobody and paid the £25 to park there already. Then the system/process to appeal is confusing and doesnt give you a confirmation (making me fear the next thing will be them saying the fine has increased in cost and I didnt appeal), and there is no number or email to contact.
