Bad quality shoes, not worth the money
I’ve bought two pairs of Xero shoes. The first pair lasted about a year before the sole and mesh started falling apart. Granted, I used them heavily, so I thought, “That sucks, but okay.” The second pair was the Mesa Trail 2. After just one month of use on mountain trails (around 10–15 km per week), the sole started to completely fall apart. Because of a questionable design, the sole is made in different sections, and each section began separating at the glue. Now the other shoe has started to break as well. In my experience, this brand doesn’t make shoes that last if you use them for more than just the gym or walking around town. Yes, I got my money back, but I work 18 km from the nearest road, so going into town to buy new shoes is a real hassle. I expected my trail shoes to last at least one summer season.
