Stay AWAY!!!
Having learned today that Budget are just another arm of BGL, it comes as no surprise that they are treating us the way they are. When a manager/coach (shares the name of the King) ignores your fears over being put in a vulnerable position financially (because of their unjust fees), then you're on to a loser. To cancel the policy would be nearly as expensive as the policy is to have for the year (more unjust fees), so there's no point in doing that. They are simply not interested in what you have to say and I get the distinct impression (from this manager/coach) that they rub their hands together when they think there's a tiny reason to slap fees onto a policy for, in reality, nothing at all. I hope their team doesn't bother with any reply to this, I'm not interested in what they have to say at their level. I have to bypass people like the aforementioned manager/coach and aim a little higher. This, ultimately, is heading for the insurance ombudsman but that doesn't bother the manager/coach at Budget. They just want to wallow in their own thirst and greed for extra fees wherever they can find them. God forbid I need their help with an insurance claim - I doubt that'll go well. Stay away people - don't be fooled by their 'cheap' prices...it's just a lure to get you on their books then hit you with unjust charges left, right and centre. To this end, and I'm not sure it's relevant but BGL have an absolutely awful reputation as a place to work...and that's first-hand knowledge. I cannot imagine working at Budget is any different, especially if you consider they are under the same umbrella and they have two offices not very far apart from each other. Mind you, if you have the likes of a manager/coach (who we dealt with via an agent) working there - who does not care one jot about his customers, it tells you all you need to know. They'll lose my custom, they know that- but do they care? Anyone reading this knows the answer to that question.
