Best tour company for Ireland I took my elderly mother on a trip from Australia to Europe, visiting friends in Germany and to see our ancestral home in Ireland. We decided to spend a bit more and upgrade from a self-drive tour to having a driver take us on a 10 day tour around the south and west of Ireland. Linda Larkin was the agent at Irish Tourism Group and she was fantastic to work with. Her attention to detail was excellent and everything was so well organised and went so smoothly, it was close to perfect. The mix of 3 and 4 star hotels and Bed & Breakfast establishments was good and having a driver added a special dimension, he took us to places we would never have found by ourselves and found the farm in County Cork from where our ancestors emigrated to Australia. Irish Tourism and Linda must be well regarded by the chosen hotels as we were offered room upgrades on a number of occasions. When planning the trip Linda took note of our requirements and met our requests, she also provided comprehensive instructions and tour notes which were useful during the trip. Overall it was a memorable tour of Ireland that went without a problem, giving my mother and me fond memories of a wonderful land and people.
