Solid trustworthy car rental
I had a really great experience rental a car from Lava Car Rental, and I am definitely renting from them again the next time I’m in Iceland. The prices were really fair, the car was really clean and we had no issue driving the 6 days we were there. They picked us up at the airport and drove us to their center (only 5-ish min. away from Keflavík airport) and the pick was really easy, the same with drop off as well. I had never driven in Iceland before, and I had never driven 4x4 before either, so I had a lot of questions both before arrival and at the center, and they were very patient with me 😌 They were very quick to answer over email, which surprised me because I wrote them during a holiday, so I didn’t expect an answer right away. Overall a really good experience and a really great car. Thank you 🤩
