Not ready to wear óld lady shoes' yet!!
HI Catherine, I have been a Wittner Shoes customer since i commenced my working career some decades ago. I have purchased 1000's of Wittner shoes over the years - I have boxes to support that. what i have noticed gradually over the years, and i have shoes to do so, is that the size of shoes seems to have become narrower over the years. I can still fit into a standard size shoe 38-39 in many other competitors brands, but are having many challenges to do so with a Wittner shoe or sandal. This is most frustrating as i love Wittner shoes and would still continue to purchase them, only for sizing fit challenges. Sadly I have had to purchase Midas and Jo Mercer shoes recently as your shoes are no longer a good fit. Some of my friends have stated the same thing, that they feel the fit is now very narrow for many women. I feel sad because i am not ready to wear óld lady' shoes just yet and still love a beautiful shoe! maybe this can be considered moving forward. cheers - Karen Hill
