Exceptional small group tour company
I’ve taken two trips with intrepid in 2023 with another 3 on the books for 2024. I’ve had 2/2 with great tour guides and tour mates. Full trust in having my best interests and providing exceptional experiences. Both happened to be comfort level trips which had a lot more activity planned out, comfier amenities, more private transport and included airport pick up, whereas the next three trips are original level tours that have some similar inclusions but all so it will be a good to see the different approaches and amenities they have to level set the various experiences. Ive taken advantage of the sale prices when they have them as some of them are set originally out of my budget range but if you stay flexible with timing, they do have great deals. My most favorite part of intrepid is the special experiences that happen that clearly an independent tourist may not have access to. For example, I had afternoon tea in a nomad family’s tent in Morocco. My local guide built a rapport over time with this area to be able to do this. Special memories and really adds to the cultural immersion of the trip.
