After receiving a text from First Direct about suspicious activity on my account i promptly phoned them and spoke to a real person (a rare experience for many companies) who put me through to the fraud team. After a few hours(which i didn't mind), talking with them i was reassured my account was safe and secure going forward. Any funds that had been fraudulently spent were refunded to me immediately. I was given plenty of useful information to protect my account going forward which i appreciated. The call only ended when i was completely satisfied with the information i was given. You don't get this level of customer service from other banks ( i know as have been customer of a few different banks and never had this level of service).
