Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I have enquired today regarding a three-bedroom property in the Leicester area. I've mentioned that my mum, me and my daughter 17years d will move in. I have mentioned that my mum will be mostly like a visitor not living with us 100% of the time. However, I've been told that the three-bed property is only for two people. I was mortified. Is this a private rental or council? Council will house 4-5 people in a two-bedroom property. Anyway, I believe is another type of racism, maybe the lady didn't like my accent.
