Renewed Policy with no notification emails after the 1st year.

I realised that this company had continued taking monthly payments for breakdown cover without any notification emails or renewal conformation. Have had almost a years worth of cover I didn't require. Have all the emails from 2022 but nothing in 2023? You must send a renewal email a month before actual renewal and an email confirming the direct debit will carry on for another 12 months. None of which I received. Email customer services and was basically told tough luck and was quoted the T's&C's. Very disappointing attitude. Update. After their initial response I replied asking for them for proof they had sent notification of the policy renewal and updated direct debit instruction. They couldn’t provide any proof so a refund was issued.
