Continuing the nightmare…
Continuing the nightmare: I had to cancel my flights because Iran launched missiles into Qatar and I was travelling through there with my child and did not want to expose him to risk. Even though I cancelled within 24 hours Travel Junction insisted they would keep £1,200 in cancellation charges. They said they would refund the balance of £1,800 in 7-10 working days but, guess what, there is still no refund. Ringing them is hopeless. They simply tell you to call back the next day, then when you do they say they will ring you back but don’t. There are more and more excuses - someone is off sick, someone is in a meeting, etc etc. Then they tell you to email someone else but no one responds to that email. And on and on it goes. You never actually get to speak to anyone who can tell you anything about where your money is. I need to book new flights and use the funds they were meant to return to me to do that but I can’t do that now. It’s the most frustrating and stressful process and the company couldn’t care less. I’m totally fed up and will now waste yet more time complaining to their regulator. Rubbish experience!
