Their custom framing deals are a scam
What's happening is that Michaels regular prices are grossly inflated, a bogus discount is distributed via mass emailed to customers/ reward members in order to lure them into the store and then when the discount (often 70%+) is applied, the customer realizes that they're actually being charged market value for custom framing. I have read several reviews making this very same claim. It's a very unfortunate situation considering the great work that they do in regards to custom framing. This will only further stress the company's current financial standing as the country enters a recession.
