They're all the same..

Recently this past week there was an automated phone call at my parents house asking if I lived there. It was difficult to understand where this call came from.. Then a couple of days ago a letter arrives from 'Westcot'. Turns out it was a Notice Of Debt Collection... as I looked into this further it turns out that this was to do with something from back in September 2018. I sold a new item on Ebay, the buyer paid and as usual I send the item once funds have cleared. A few days after posting I receive an email from EBay saying the buyer was 'a suspicious buyer' therefore do not send the item if you haven't already. Thanks eBay you should really of contacted me sooner! Nothing happened after this and I never heard from anyone until before Christmas when PayPal were contacting me about a chargeback. I had no idea what this was so I contacted them. Long story short the chargeback was to do with the suspicious buyer, apparently the card holder didn't issue the payment. PayPal did not cover anything as I stupidly believed the buyers reason for needing it posted somewhere else. Now I am somehow meant to give the money back to PayPal, so they have instructed Westcot to bother my parents landline. In the meantime I have contacted PayPal, Royal Mail, a past seller that this buyer purchased from before me and also Actionfraud where this has all been recorded for further investigation. After reading other reviews on Westcot it seems like a lot of them are negative. Personally I think debt agencies should not be aloud to make people feel even worse than they already do, no one wants to be in financial struggles and no one wants to be a victim of online fraud.
