SunExpress has the most rigid and unhelpful customer service I’ve ever dealt with. We accidentally entered my mother’s nickname “Arzu” instead of her official name “Melek” when booking a flight from Düsseldorf to Samsun. Everything else was correct and it was clearly the same person. We noticed the error before the flight and contacted them immediately — but they flat-out refused to correct it or offer any reasonable solution. Their only “option” was to cancel the ticket and refund just €57 of the €229 we paid. Unbelievable. Most airlines allow name corrections for a fee. SunExpress hides behind bureaucracy and shows zero flexibility or empathy. Never booking with them again — and we’re now pursuing a chargeback to get our money back.
