Poor click and collect experience

I ordered a cable to be picked up at the Leeds store. Not an expensive item but it was urgent and I made a special trip to pick it up once the email came in saying it was ready - it was showing in stock in store (IIRC 6 in stock). I turn up after a long detour to get to them and they don’t have it. They actually went to the shelf to get it - so it wasn’t “ready to collect” at all. None in stock. One person said they would sell an inferior product to me very cheaply that I could use (it would risk damaging my amp but I could maybe use it carefully) but when I got to the till that was changed. I’m left with an unsuitable cable I can’t return and I’ve had to buy the right one online from another shop. Only plus is that I got a refund for the original item ordered. But no recognition that I’d done a huge round trip to pick up this cable I was told was ready. Very poor experience of the click and collect service.

Poor CS, don’t respond to complaints, don’t refund when promised.

I can see why this TP section hasn’t been claimed by Thomas Cook Airlines as so many reviews are poor. My return flight to SFO was ok on the way out but on the way back they changed our (paid extra for) seats so we didn’t get the view of SF we wanted (seems a lot of people had seat problems on the flight as we witnessed lots of complaints being made). Also no tea and coffee available on a 10 hour flight - eerrrrr what???? Not even offered soft drinks for free instead. The worst bit was trying to get issues resolved back home and get a refund for the seats they didn’t supply us. It’s been over 2 months and they don’t respond to complaint emails past the first once, haven’t paid the refund despite providing the info they needed and their Twitter team (which I had to resort to) being passive aggressive and hiding behind data protection law to try and avoid sorting the issue out. Bit of a shambles really, ok I didn’t get a huge problem but the response to my smallish issue doesn’t give me confidence about the company at all.
