Refund without notice or apology
We ordered a high-value item that had a 21-day delivery time notice on their website. Over 21 days passed and I had heard nothing. I rang the customer service which was answered by a lady who told me that she is in a rush as she was leaving the office. She looked at my order and said it was marked red. She could not tell me how long it would take to get stock as Fissler would not them and their purchasing department could not be contacted. She asked me to call again which I tried 4 times. I sent an email and politely asked for an update on the delivery time. 8 hours later I was sent a refund in EUR which means that I will be out of pocket when it is converted back into GBP. There are numerous complaints by their Ebay customers about cancelled orders. It seems that they have discovered a brilliant new way to get working capital: let customers order and pay for something that is not in stock, cancel and refund their order 4 weeks later!
