Blaming customers and not notifying of bills until months after
I had no problems with Anglian water until I left the property I was renting. I notified them of my leaving and gave them a forwarding address for my final bill. 6 months after my move out date I received a bill for the last 6 months telling me I was late paying. I proved I wasn't living in the property and therefore did not need to pay the bill. This sorted the issue. A year on, the bill is still showing on my credit rating. When I asked them remove it, they said they have removed it now out of 'goodwill' despite all of the problem being from their end. This also happened to 2 of my family members where anglian water did not notify them of a bill of 99p from years previous. Its as if they want you to not pay uur bill and have a bad credit rating on purpose.
