Improvements needed on their customer service skills
I have used this particular branch of car wash for a few years and have never had any major issues until my visit today (18th May 2025). Despite the staff never being particularly cheery, I have always been satisfied with the guidance/instructions and results in the past. On today's visit I didn't particularly appreciate the rude customer service I received, particularly from one member of staff wearing a cap (I didn't get his name). As I was being waved to move forward into the car wash, this particular member of staff started shouting "left, left!" while his colleague was shouting completely different instructions, followed by them banging on my window to reverse back and start again. This followed by more conflicting instructions and window banging until I finally got onto the car wash correctly. Once I started going through the car wash I could see the staff member in the cap angrily throwing his arms around and making rude gestures implying that I was unable to drive or follow instructions. How is someone supposed to follow two completely conflicting instructions from two separate people, especially when one of them is shouting it at you? Judging by some of the similar and negative experiences / reviews on Google (the glowing reviews are clearly from those who have bought top level packages or are from friends / regulars / taxi drivers) IMO need to send a member of staff from their Head Office to this branch to retrain their staff on their customer service skills (as they clearly don't have any) and give clear instructions to their customers in a calm way. After my experience today, I will be getting my car washed elsewhere.
