Giant Food is one of the pearls of our neighborhood. We have three. They adopt rapidly to our ever-changing diverse needs and offer the variety of foods you can't find elsewhere. This is extremely important around the holidays! Their prices are reasonable and sometimes downright unbelievably awesome. I stock up on things like corned beef when they put it on sale around easter time. Or Alaskan crab legs and other fresh seafood in the summer. The customer service is always friendly regardless of which department you're visiting. The bakery sells a "Chocolate Bomb" cake that gets rave reviews each time I've served it up to family and friends. Haven't found that cake anywhere else in any other grocery store.

License key does not work to activate software

Unable to activate the software with the license key provided with my purchase. No way to contact the company for immediate help. Telephone greeting says they only respond to text. Does not give a timeline as to when they will respond. Update 4/4/2025: Because of the above truthful review, this company has threatened to cancel my software (TurboTax) license key and also not issue a refund for the purchase because I gave them a 1-star rating and stated what my experience was. I contacted them when the code didn't work and they had to issue a new activation code since the original one apparently got cancelled by the TurboTax system for God knows what. By threatening to cancel my activation key (which voids the software), I cannot trust the software for filing taxes and will have to purchase elsewhere. See how others have gotten to the filing stage only to learn that their software activation keys had been cancelled. I will dispute the transaction with my bank and provide them screenshots of the threats and rude texts from BigHomeTax. I conclude that BigHomeTax is a vindictive company that doesn't have a clue about customer service, ethical business or U.S. consumer protection rights. We need a way to upload screenshots so the world can see the nasty texts this company sent to me! Update 4/5/2025: I went to report BigHomeTax to TurboTax as I'm sure threatening customers would not be acceptable for their redistributors. But they were already reported by many others and TurboTax has confirmed BigHomeTax is not an authorized reseller of TurboTax software. Google search turbotax support and type in "BigHomeTax" to see for yourself. Update 4/6/2025: Trustpilot needs to add a "Resolved" rating and not just a "Response" rating. Look at the responses BigHomeTax has given to dissatisfied customers all having the same issues with BigHomeTax pirated re-sold software. Look at the BBB complaints for this company as well. Responses don't mean anything if all the company has to do is just type in some nonsense that doesn't address the issues reported in the reviews.
