[SWEDEN] BMW CIC 2013 REBOOTING
Had a problem with my CIC rebooting (2013 BMW F31 Entry Head Unit). I heard about the company from a Swedish BMW-group on facebook and decided to send it to them. I was afraid to send it all the way to Romania at first but this was the best choice I had (BMW wanted like 8-times the money to have it fixed). Ofcourse, the unit was fixed within a day and I had it installed about a week after. Whole process took about two weeks, but that comes down to shipping. After installing it, everything worked perfectly. And also e-mail contact with them worked super-well. They responded quickly and gave me good answers. And if you have the same problem as me, look at some youtube tutorials on how to remove the head unit, and then contact MCA to get the form you need to fill in before sending the unit to them. The car is drive-able without the head-unit and they will have it fixed for you. The only thing I don't know is what they actually do to the unit, if they change any component or if they reprogram it. I just asked them about this and I will edit my review if I get an answer. Edit: I received an answer to my questions. Very good explanation and I am super happy. And they give you one year of warranty on the repair. All the best
