Refund Request Ref:UL/RR/100435 Booking ref:NAKUND Having sent numerous emails requesting an update on my refund process, I am now using Trustpilot in the hope that some positive action will be taken. It is now 8 weeks since our onward British Airways flight (We flew from Colombo to Heathrow with an included connection to Glasgow) booked through Sri Lankan Airlines was cancelled and we have still not received a refund for that section of our travel. The last correspondence I received on 10th May confirmed that our refund was in the ‘refund process’ and that an approximate amount for the cancelled part of our journey would be credited to the credit card used for the original payment. This has yet to happen and I feel we have waited long enough and have been treated very unfairly. I am also disappointed in the poor service and lack of courtesy we have received from Sri Lankan Airlines as they have failed to respond to my emails. From reading other reviews on this site I gather that I am not alone in receiving poor service. - this does not reflect well on Sri Lanka and its people who do not deserve such bad publicity,
