False Advertising
False advertising. My guarantor has owned her own home for over 40 years with no mortgage. Owns outright. Made the application 5 days ago. Had to ring every day. When registered online, it said 'in progress'. A text arrived today, 5 days after applying saying 'no'. Reason? None. Every day the lady said "No problem. Just finalising the loan". The loan was for medical bills as my I had to go private ever since Covid. NHS are understandbly overwhelmed. I have reported them the Financial Authority who are investigating immediately. These people damage your credit rating and refuse to give an explanation. I have started the process of suing for misleading advertising. Please be wary.
