I recently visited my local Huws Gray…

I recently visited my local Huws Gray for some wood for my bathroom . The assistant on the till told me I needed to go to the shed across the carpark. I told him I had walking difficulties to which his reply was "you can drive over if you want" . I was shocked at his lack of customer service skills regarding disabilities . A few days later I had to go again , same assistant on the till . This time I drive to the shed first and got what I needed and drove back over to pay for it. We had a dispute regarding the website advertising what I had bought at a reduced price. The assistant told me there was nothing he could do and that it was probably old stock. The website did not stipulate that it was only available at certain branches which was my argument. I paid full price and complained to head office more about his attitude than anything else. He had no customer service skills whatsoever and yes he probably deals with tradesmen most of the time. However he really needs to brush up on his customer service skills and maybe refresh his disability awareness training ! Needless to say I won't be going again ( I doubt I would be welcome ) My complaint was passed on to the manager and area manager yet I have had no apology for the way he dealt with things. I put it down to a generation thing
