Flawed system
Placed an order for trainers 4/6/25 for a birthday gift. Due to offer, significant discounts applied (£90 brought down to £72), expected delivery 9/6/25. Got update txt 9/6/25 stating item dispatched and then no communication. Customer service telephoned 16/6/25, the push options are extensive and take approx 4-5 minutes to get through, the call handler sounded like she was fed up and needed a glass of wine, discussed situation and was advised “lost in transit”. Queried why I had to telephone to find this out and why this was not reflected on my account? Call handler advised, the only way to find out it’s lost is to call them and alert them of an issue as their system has no means of flagging a delay issue!! This completely contradicts what the confirmation emails states “If there's any issues we'll let you know ASAP.” Conveniently the last time I had this issue with JD, that order was also significantly discounted but make of that what you want. Cancelled order and asked for a refund and an email address on where to make a complaint, told id receive information following call. It’s now 18/6/25 and I’ve had no correspondence following my call. No refund. Absolutely nothing despite being assured that everything had been sorted at their end. Irritated is an understatement! My advice, stick to instore purchasing or go elsewhere.
