Lesly Pointer - Support and Rehabilitation Coordinator
We were introduced to Lesly Pointer by Irwin Mitchell to help my daughter with any needs she had regarding her rehabilitation whilst waiting for referral to specialists. Lesly has been a tower of strength and a font of information for both my daughter and me. She has given us endless advice about services, support groups and information on what was out there to help with every day living, and with her knowledge of which departments to contact we were able to get mobility aids for my daughter and entitlements to things we previously had no idea existed! But as well as being professional and excellent at her job she is just a kind, compassionate and understanding person. She has listened and offered words of comfort and encouragement in my darker moments And even when she was supposed to sign us off a few months back, when she learned that my daughter had to undergo an unexpected stay in hospital which she was worried about, she kept us on her books a bit longer to support her through it. Anyone who is in the position of needing a Support & Rehabilitation Coordinator will be very fortunate to be assigned Lesly Pointer. We can’t recommend her highly enough and are going to miss her very much.
