Learning on the job
I trained with Services For Education in the 2018-2019 ITT cohort and found the training experiences a fantastic step into the world of teaching. Coming from a none school based background the additional help and support for the tutors and mentors helped guide me in the right direction, and now in my NQT year I can see how the different lectures and training days support my teaching. One of the main positives of training with SFE is the amount of time you are in-school training directly with a class teacher. I feel this was a lot more beneficial for me than attending lectures and trying to implement. For those who want to learn on the job, this is the course I would recommend for you.
