Pisa Airport - Excessive Charges - Sixt
I recently rented a car from Sixt at Pisa Airport. Like a fool I checked the bodywork when I picked the car up, but not the upholstery. When I got to my destination I noticed a watermark on the rear seat, but thought little more of it.I returned the car, no problem. I then received an additional bill for 'special cleaning' (40 EUR + tax i.e.50 EUR). I queried this and was told the charge was for cleaning the mark on back seat. I feel that I have been stitched up. Sixt have agreed to refund 20 EUR of the charge, but I still feel the charge is unjustified and excessive - especially for something I was was not responsible for. Beware!
