Prompt service but hard to meet Mazuma light scratch criteria!

I sent my iPhone 14 to Mazuma with a very light scratch which could only just about be seen when angling the screen in the light. I was quoted £255 on the website as, using their criteria, I considered it to be in “excellent” condition. I then received an email with a reduction to £215 as there were “more than 3 very light scratches or deep scratch”. I emailed asking for photos of this and duly received photos that were of my phone, but they had clearly been very magnified to show my light scratch, which as magnified, of course showed it to be more of a deep scratch, but when looking at the phone in situ, it was literally a very light scratch which could only be seen when angling the phone in the light and could not even be “felt”, whereas a deep scratch would be able to be felt. However, having read many reviews, I didn’t see there would be any point arguing the issue any further and £215 seemed reasonable, but I do wonder what they do consider a “light scratch” to be!! The customer service did respond quickly and the payment was absolutely made in good time, but like other reviewers, I do think it’s hard to argue against their definition of a light scratch and if my phone wasn’t considered to be in “excellent” condition for a “used” phone being traded in, then I can only assume they would only consider a brand new phone as such!
