Harsh Penalty for delayed pickup
I was severely penalised (170 euro)for a delay of just over an hour in pickup. The local company (Noleggoiare in Pisa) enforced an (unwritten) rule of 1 hour to label a 'No Show'. Lesson learnt, always to inform Zest of any delay! Neither Zest nor Noleggiare showed any flexibility.. never experienced this before - in similar situations wrt rental pickup delays. The main reason for delay was an inefficient Shuttle Bus service for the Car Hire office/terminal. UPDATE I have changed this review from 1 star to 4 stars - after a very productive call from Zest. A sincere apology and refund, as well as a full investigation into the actions of the local company. Which were not up to the standards Zest expect. (or most customers...)
