★☆☆☆☆ — Misleading Promotions, Poor Customer Service, and Unexpected Charges I would strongly caution anyone considering PODS, especially when using promotional discounts. I used PODS for a cross-country move through a Costco promotion. After my move, I was hit with unexpected charges because PODS claimed I hadn't met the promotional requirements. Despite repeatedly requesting documentation and clarification, I never received a satisfactory explanation. Additionally, my container had a hole in the roof that was never repaired, and communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I made numerous attempts to resolve the billing dispute, including offering to pay an additional month's rental fee as a reasonable compromise. Despite repeated requests to speak with management, PODS refused to work toward a resolution. I eventually filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but PODS continued to insist the charges were valid without adequately addressing my concerns. What should have been a convenient moving experience turned into weeks of unnecessary stress, frustration, and disappointment. I would not recommend PODS. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and unwillingness to work with customers left me with absolutely no confidence in this company.
