'In Stock' doesn't actually mean 'In Stock'
My son lost his football training kit. I made a temporary arrangement but needed to replace the items as soon as possible. I placed the order and paid in full. This included an exorbitant postal charge (given the size and weight of the package) which I assumed would facilitate a quick delivery. All items were marked on the website as 'in stock'. A week passed, then two, then three. I occasionally checked the order status on the website which simply stated that the order had not been dispatched. After almost a month, I e-mailed them asking for an update. They replied that there were difficulties with their suppliers (in this case Addidas). I pointed out that it was clearly stated on their website that the items were 'in stock'. Ah, they responded, this only means that they are 'in stock' at the suppliers. I appreciate that there can be problems with supply chains (they cited Covid) but none of this made sense. Given that I had already purchased replacements, I gave them the 30 day legal limit to supply the items or issue a refund. Unsurprisingly, a few days later the items arrived. Would I use this company again? Would I recommend others to use this company? Based on my personal experience, absolutely not.
