Surprising! (Awful)
Surprising! (Awful) My wife took my soft top car to Waves in Flitwick for a basic wash. When she got home I noticed that the roof had not been cleaned. I returned my car and explained that the roof had not been cleaned, only to be told that this was not covered in a basic wash. However this was not conveyed to my wife when she went there. I have owned a soft top for over 30 years and the roof had always been washed. The manager did tell me that it was an excellent clean, but I had noticed dirty water marks on the boot, he told me it was just a water mark! I told him that I would not be coming back and he just said ok. When I got home, I put a dab of water on a white tissue and wiped the ‘water’ mark on the boot. The tissue showed brown dirt residue. Finally I went to clean the roof myself and on the drivers side front, there was a round mark like a cup had been placed there. I know the mark was not caused by me and I had not seen it prior to the car being washed. I don’t get the car roof washed and in fact they made it dirtier! I will not go back there given the issues and would advise you to avoid Waves, Flitwick.
