Slow and Inefficient

The short version The hospital is slow, expensive, and inefficient. The Kafkaesque 1- I made an appointment made through a third-party app, which is set and implemented by either you directly as a company or your staff, so definitely that's not an excuse for delay. I didn't come in begging for a last-minute appointment, I picked a 5 pm appointment, one out of several time slots available on that date. 2- On the app there's no clear reference to the fact that the appointment would have been in a hospital, which is always a slow and burdensome process compared to a private studio and having known in advance, I would have probably avoided it. 3- On the app the price was advertised at €90, while I was charged €139. 4- The next day I get notified via mail that I received texts from the doctor over the app which is downloadable only through an Italian app store, which I cannot access, so I have no idea what the doctor is trying to communicate... There's no phone number, no e-mail on the app, and looking up the doctor, nothing still... 5- I finally receive a call from the hospital which has both my email and phone number to confirm my appointment at 19:00. I then double-check, whether I made a mistake, but the appointment was definitely booked at 17:00, as confirmed via mail, which I communicate to the attendant. 6- The hospital calls me back one more time, confirming the appointment at 16:45. I ask indications on where to park, as these are big structures, and I get told, "Just come around and we'll tell you." 7- At 16:15 I get to the hospital, follow google maps diligently and find myself stuck at the back, at the first aid entrance, so I go back one km or so, turn around and get to the front entrance. (You might want to fix your location on Google Maps) 7- I finally get in, now, one queue after the other, filling in the same information over and over again, get charged well above advertised price, and then being told I should have shown up 1 HOUR IN ADVANCE!! (Yes, because that's how slow their admission is, I would have appreciated having known that before, along with the parking info thanks). 8- I finally get to the right section of the hospital, it's now 17:00, I think I'm late, having spent half an hour in admission (Where there were maybe 12 people waiting and 12 "working" -_- ) I get asked for my name, which... Is not on the list... 9- The nurses figure I must have been switched with someone else, and my appointment is... At 17:00... 10- It's 17:45 when I finally head downstairs to get a refund. 11- Where I wait in line for another 10 minutes, while a few people in admission go in before me, because apparently if you get a refund you can get 3 numbers over the next one in line, because who cares... 12- Finally the clerk calls the number before mine, there's nobody, apart from me (as the number still has to be issued), asks me my number, and with a confused look on his face, ( I arrived before the other 3 people who got served before me), asks me to go to the counter. 13- I get my money back, I go home THE END...
