The no-surge policy cost me on New Year's Eve

I know riders love no surge but I drove New Year's Eve and watched colleagues on other platforms pull $300+ while I was capped at normal rates with better commission. Net result: I made about $190, probably $80-100 less than I would have elsewhere that specific night. Every other night the math favors Ryde. That one night stung.
