Very Disappointing
We arrived at the property and the deck / stairs had been freshly stained and they were not dry, they were still tacky and probably have foot prints from bluestone dust. Water pressure is pretty bad and if someone is showering downstairs, there is hardly any pressure at all upstairs. The ceiling fan upstairs bedroom makes a horrible sound when you turn it on and only one lamp in the fan worked when we arrived. That lamp burnt out about 2 hours after being there and then there were NO lights that worked in the fan / light fixture. There were two very obvious urine stains on the comforter, right near the pillows where we lay our heads . . .that was disgusting! The sheets / pillow cases clearly had not been changed in this room. The upstairs bathroom had a broken shower curtain rod that was left leaning in the corner, there are water or mold stains throughout. My wife described this bathroom as looking like a crime scene. The carpets throughout were pet urine stained . . . I've stayed at many pet friendly rentals . . .the carpets in this one were the worst i've ever experienced. As mentioned earlier, there were even urine stains on the comforter. That is easy to deal with, but it was left . . . what a repulsive welcome . . . urine on the comforter where you're going to sleep at night. one of the legs on an ottoman was broken and it had been carefully set up to look normal. The first time we moved it, the front leg folded. Why not just remove the ottoman. The vent cover from the microwave was missing . . .who cares but it was par for the course. As was the case in the upstairs bathroom, water stains are prevalent throughout the space but really bad in the bathroom. The common bathroom had a broken toilet paper holder and there was a roll placed on the sink. Not a huge deal, but just like the rest of the property . . . nothing is well maintained. We were in town for a wedding and we were in and out. No one wants to arrive and have to call to have maintenance done during your visit while you have guests in the home. We were there for the wedding and chose a house so some of us could stay together and thought that it would be more enjoyable and more comfortable than a hotel. Due to the nature and as is common in today's world, I had remote work to wrap up over the weekend. I could not access WiFi and this was important the other stuff i decided to live with. I called for help with the password . . . the password provided did not work. Support offered password support but only offered the one that had already been provided. They offered to come out saturday night and when I told them that was the night of the wedding and we wouldn't be in the unit, i never heard back from them. WiFi isn't important, it was a necessity. Someone had clearly replaced the netgear router with a new router prior to our arrival, but it was not accessible to any of the guests due to lack of a password. This didn't only affect my ability to finish my work, but also affected the other guest from being able to stream to the t.v.s so most of the t.v. were useless.
