Poor customer service and poorer technical assistance
I've been a LycaMobile client for a few years. Last year I experienced many problems with phone calls and SMS. I've not been able to send SMS since the Summer of 2024. I contacted their customer service for the first time around October. They said they would escalate my query to the tech team and let me know in a couple of days. Never heard from them since. Then in January 2025 I contacted them again because I was starting having problems with phone calls as well. Same "I'm going to escalate your query to the tech team" but this time they gave me a reference number. A week later I got a SMS telling me that everything was fine. But it wasn't. I've been talking to their customer service for more than a month and still I can't send SMS. I've checked my phone and it works fine with other SIM, while my SIM doesn't work on other devices, so I asked for a SIM replacement and they didn't even bother to reply. Bottom line is I'm changing my service provider, even if I lose my credit balance: then maybe I'll be able to use my phone as a phone.
