NCP Brighton,Russell road car park
I parked in the NCP Russell road car park between 22nd - 26th May. Payment was made by a QR code through the App and there was a discount available through the Maldron hotel in Brighton, directly opposite. However the discount was condtional on staying in the car park for 24 hour periods, otherwise you would have to pay the expensive hourly charges. The location was good, being close to the hotel and the seafront. We wanted to sort out a problem with the QR code not being read which would result in higher charges. Unfortunately were kep waiting by the machine for a return call which never came. We gave up after 30mins wait without the matter being resolved. On exiting the car park 4 days later my partner accidentally left her debit card in the payment machine. We rang up the customer services who got an attendant to check all the machines. Fortunately the card was found by the attendant Richard who waited for us to return 30mins later to collect the card! Overall the our experience was mixed but the attendant Richard and the customer service rep Ben deserve 5 stars for their help and effort in resolving our issues.
