Excellent representation

We have spent our careers in the fields of global mobility and during that time we have worked with many professional service providers. For that reason we believe that we are uniquely qualified to write about our experience with the immigration department at the law firm of Almeida, Dias and Associates in Lisbon, Portugal. We were very fortunate to having been represented by Inês de Castro Poupado in our quest for a “golden visa.” A hallmark of our engagement had been Inês‘ intimate knowledge of the law and processes as well as her responsiveness to our questions by email and WhatsApp. Inês’ answers to our inquiries and concerns were always clear and precise. We typically received an answer within an hour, for which we were grateful. Her demeanor was at all times gracious, with a willingness to always advocate for us. When the immigration department’s computer was down, Inês made repeated trips to their office to ensure that our applications would be received on a timely basis. As we are U.S. based, we especially appreciated Inês’ ability to coordinate with our banker and investment fund manager in Lisbon. There were many moving parts to the investment process which had to be completed within a narrow timeframe and we are grateful to Inês for expertly facilitating that process.
