The course itself is good and would recommend. It's well structured, broad, insightful and informative, and my tutor Chloe has been great. However, I personally feel the "support" from the organisation's Student Support Team was lacking when I needed it. I write this in the hope that things may change for future students. Sadly, like many, I experienced longer-term effects post covid early on in the pandemic. This left me feeling overwhelmed and isolated, trying to juggle study around my NHS job and post covid health outcomes. I explained this numerous times to my area representative with little avail, which is ironic considering the course subject. I do understand that long covid is not yet recognised as an official disability under Disability Act, but feel there still should have been/be more flexible protocols in place around attendance, deadlines etc. to help support the growing number of students living with after effects of this virus. If it hadn't have been for my tutor and Clinical Supervisor, I would have deffered or even given up months ago, then been extremely gutted now having nearly fully recovered. Sometimes we have to look outside of the box when faced with adverse and unique circumstances.
