Still waiting for a refund
Still waiting for a refund. I purchased one of the aligner cleaner pods at the end of January which never arrived due to lack of stock. It was agreed on the 22nd February that my order would be cancelled and a full refund processed back to the payment method used. It has now been 11 working days and still I have not received a refund. Sonic dental have ignored the 3 emails I have sent asking for proof that the refund has been processed as understandably I am concerned. I'm hoping this review will generate a response from Sonic Dental and the refund dealt with asap. UPDATE 8th March 2024 - This review did prompt a response from Sonic Dental asking me to take down my review and to tell me that my refund has been processed, however now 12 working days since it was agreed my order would be cancelled and a refund would be issued I still have not received it. Sonic Dentals refund policy clearly states a refund will be received within 10 working days. All Sonic Dental keep saying is it has been issued which I'm now finding hard to believe. At no point have they apologised or even offered to look into the matter! UPDATE 13th March 2024 - I was hoping to update this review to say I finally had got my refund however that is not the case. Yesterday it showed as pending on my account, so I checked first thing this morning that the funds had cleared, however the pending transaction had disappeared and the money still not refunded. I have to say the response from Sonic Dental on this matter has been disgraceful and caused me great distress. They just keep saying over and over again that the refund has been processed. If it has then why has the money not been credited to my account? They refuse to answer the question as to why if my order was cancelled and a refund agreed on the 22nd February did they not process it until the 1st March and that was only after I emailed them asking when I would be receiving the funds. After updating my review on here on Friday 8th March Sonic Dental told me that "they reserve the right to take any legal action we deem necessary to protect the goodwill of the brand." Just to be clear that is quoted word for word from the email I received from Sonic Dental. All I want is my money back. I have now ceased communication with Sonic Dental and will obtain my refund through my credit card provider. I am just thankful that I paid for this order using my credit card.
