Unnecessarily complicated
Although I eventually managed to book the cover I wanted at a reasonable premium, the process was unnecessarily complicated. I provided all the required information upfront including the dates of travel but when I selected one of the options presented to me, the company concerned advised they could not provide a quote for the dates I had given after all.
