Do not use their service in Finlan
We took our Kia EV9 to Hedin Automotive Herttoniemi repair shop in Finland to get the leaking battery fixed. They told that it was mechanical damage and that we need to do insurance claim and give them the claim number for them to send insurance company the details and repair cost estimate. It took us 24 hours to deliver the insurance claim number and it took them three weeks to submit the information for the insurance company. Insurance company took another 24 hours to make the decision. After this we waited some 8 weeks for the spares and then it took 3 weeks for Hedin to repair the car which the told would take only one day. They also broke three battery cells during the process and after they gave the car back, we had to go there three additional times to get the cooling fluid added since they were unable to fill it the first time. What was the most infuriating thing for this service: absolutely no information or updates from Hedin unless we called them. The three weeks we were waiting the damage details to be delivered to the insurance company we called twice a week to ask what is going on and they just said the work order is in queue. Finally I had to resolve who was supposed to send the info for insurance and called that unit directly and they told that they never had any work order for our car. Even after that Hedin did not even say sorry they just stated that the email they sent to the other unit got lost. Since the whole process took so long I resulted demanding a loaner car for free after 4 weeks of waiting and due their inability to deliver the insurance info. At least that we got so maybe they deserve the one star.
