I recently purchased two pairs of shorts through the app, but unfortunately, the advertised discount wouldn't apply at checkout. I went ahead with the purchase, assuming customer service would be able to refund the discount afterwards. However, because I used loyalty points, I was told the discount couldn’t be honoured. I even offered to repay the €30 worth of loyalty points so they could be credited back to my account, but this was also declined by G&C. What made the experience more frustrating was that just a week earlier, I had received a lovely message from the owner thanking me for being a loyal customer. I’ve always enjoyed shopping with G&C, which made this situation particularly disappointing. I ended up returning the shorts, even though I really loved them. It’s not the review I had hoped to write, but I feel it’s important to share my experience.
