Peace-of-mind for you and your pet
Dutch is the premiere online vet experience - perfect for an older pet who dislikes going to the vet but needs medications for a long-term/chronic condition. My 20-year-old pet was always forced to go to the vet to receive medications for her chronic (years' long) condition, but she would become extremely depressed for weeks after each visit. It hurt to not be able to interact with her the same for weeks whenever we got home. Combined with her being 20, this felt not only unacceptable to me, but also risky. Dr. Rettig was completely receptive to my worries about the situation, and swiftly issued my pet's prescription online after a discussion about her condition. That's it! No more stressful over-visits to the vet. It's still important to check your pet's vitals at least once or twice a year if they have a chronic condition, though. I highly recommend Dutch for any overly-anxious pets!!!!! (Side note: I saw that in the case that they can't prescribe in your state, that refunds are easy and quick.) So, it all felt very risk-free, despite needing to pay for membership prior to the vet visit. You should definitely allow your pet the potential peace-of-mind by trying Dutch!
