No reduction on shop- soiled items
A relative collected shoes for me from a store as I have mobility issues. On trying the shoes on I noticed greasy toe- shaped marks inside both shoes. My relative took them back to the shop and i would have thought a reduction in price should be offered as compensation. We were told that this was caused by people trying items on and the composition material. My thoughts were that the depth of the imprints made this unlikely. The shoes were reduced as part of the standard sale but were still £69. I think it is reasonable to expect unspoiled shoes. We left the shoes and await a refund. The customer service online number said they could not assist due to the shoes having been purchased in store. A disappointing response from a large company.
