New York and New England Tour

We had an idea for a New York holiday extended to tour certain parts of New England. Having spoken with Leander and given her the locations and preferred travel dates she came up with three amazing itineraries, each tailored to our wish list but with differing travel options and routes. We choose our favourite but Leander was happy to tweak things as we needed. Given the bespoke nature of the trip and some touring, we stayed in a total of 5 different hotels, so not a straight forward booking. We felt assured checking in at each hotel as we had Leander's and Travel Counsellors number at hand should we need them. We didn't need to call as the hotel reservations and payments where all taken care of. We had some local taxes to pay but each was explained by Leander when choosing the itinerary, so expected. We had one slight query by hotel reception at our last check in but was resolved quickly by the hotel itself. Leander was also able to incorporate Go City passes into the trip for New York and Boston. We also had the option of adding car rental but decided to make our own booking for the car on this occasion. The flights were also booked by Travel Counsellors. We had BA travelling out to New York, from Manchester via Heathrow and there was a problem with some of the luggage being delayed but this was down to the airline. Again, we felt reassured that Leander would help if needed but the luggage was delivered to our hotel soon after. Our return flights went from Boston to Manchester via Heathrow. I would choose Leander again for a holiday, especially with bespoke or out of the ordinary needs. Travel Counsellors did an excellent job and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
