My water tank ran empty two days before…
My water tank ran empty two days before the end of its two-year warranty. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. Eight days later, it happened again. This time, I discovered it was the well-known pod three leak that many others have reported. I contacted support, but because I officially reported the issue eight days after the warranty expired, they refused to cover it. I provided evidence showing the leak began before the warranty expired, but they wouldn’t make an exception. Like others have noted on this site, their responses were standard, scripted, and unhelpful. They clearly use AI support that cannot offer anything other than a standard response that says too bad so sorry. I’m leaving this here as a warning: if your water tank runs empty near the end of your warranty period, contact support immediately. Flag it as a potential leak and let them know you’ll monitor the situation. If I had done this when my tank first emptied, I’d likely have received a replacement under warranty. EDIT (21/8/25) - Eight Sleep did reach out to me, and offer me a replacement at no cost given these exceptional circumstances after escalating. It would have been nice initially, but credit where credit is due, I appreciate them taking action. That is good support. I've upgraded my rating to 3 stars from 2 in light of this.
