Kirby and the missing Pre-Orders…
Kirby and the missing Pre-Orders (Switch 2 Edition). It’s really sad to have to do this again but Delche gaming offer me no other option. I (stupidly) placed multiple pre-orders with this “company” (bloke in his bedroom) and this is number 3 of 5. With each of the previous 2 pre-orders the same pattern occurs. The release date comes and goes - Delche don’t bother to say anything. I contact them to request an update, as I see other (reputable) retailers shipping their pre-orders the day before (or prior) to the release so their customers get them the day of or the day after etc. and yet no response, no contact, not a whiff of interest whatsoever from Delche. I contact them again a few days later or a week later - nothing. I contact them again another week later (or at some point prior giving them ample time to respond) - nothing. Around 2.5 weeks after the release I get a shipping update from Hermes that something is on its way to me and around 3 weeks after release (maybe a tad longer) the item finally arrives. Still no contact or response from Delche. You may say.. “at least I have the item”. Well yes, but then I did pay for it after all - the main issue with all this is the lack of contact. I don’t mind delays - I don’t mind issues with stock etc. but for someone who pre-ordered this many months ago and would expect I was one of the first to do so - I would just appreciate knowing what is going on and roughly when I can expect the item I paid for. If you can’t ship on time like other distributors then at least have the common courtesy to keep your paying customers informed and when people contact you to request an update or to cancel an order REPLY TO THEM!!! I still recommend that people look elsewhere, getting the item 3 weeks late isn’t the worst thing in the world, I see those in other reviews have had to contact their banks for refunds as they NEVER received anything and I’ve kept a lot of evidence of my attempts to contact them, so I can do the same if needed, but not knowing what’s going on when they have your money up front isn’t the way I like to do business. So right now I’m just waiting, at present no shipping update and no response to my query as to if/when I might expect to see good ol’ Kirby. I’ll update in 3 weeks if I have/haven’t gotten anything, but to all those hardworking peeps out there who care about their money and putting it in the hands of companies who actually treat you like a human being… give this joker a miss.
