Didn't tell installation parts have to ordered separately!…
Installed a whole house filter system last year. Now adding a fluoride filter to it. This was explained in detail with a technicl representative and the sales rep adding the new component to an existing system, the new filter to be in-line with the existing components. No one bothered to tell me that the hardward needed to to connect the two filter components had to be ordered separately. So the filter arrived...the plumber arrived to install it...and couldn't! That cost me $85 for the service call with nothing to show for it, along with the loss of the time invested in getting set up for the installation and returning everything that had to be moved tback into place, and the looming expense of more time and money when the now-orderd part finally arrives.To make this even more bizarre, the new component comes complete with a new pre-filter which I didn't need, and when I explained that to the sales rep was told they're sending it anyway but knocking $50 of the bill. If any of this makes sense to anyone, please let me know..
